Dalaran, one of the oldest human city-states after Stromgarde, is a neutral city located in northern Northrend. It was once part of the Lordaeron Alliance, but was destroyed during the Third War. The Crimson City left the Alliance shortly after, erecting a magical wall protecting it from any attack. Then, the mages moved her to Northrend in hopes of defeating the Lich King.
